Job description:

The sales executive is responsible for identifying and developing potential business prospects and conducting sales presentations to land project opportunities.
You will drive and develop new and existing business and seeking other new sources of revenues from your existing clientele. In this role you work closely with sales, marketing and design to achieve established sales goals and implement business development initiatives that maximize and generate bottom line revenue for IDW.
The sales executive role will initially be based from home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect and target business opportunities within new markets and companies suitable for IDW’s product offering and capabilities.
  • Conduct market research to determine best prospects to convert into clients based on company’s revenues, locations and growth plans.
  • Build and maintain an accurate active data base of prospective clients’ information via Monitor (IDW ERP/CRM system)
  • Ensure a robust pipeline of business contacts, meet potential clients to grow, maintain and leverage relationships.
  • Establish and manage relationships at multiple levels with key decision makers.
  • Consult with decision makers at mid and senior level management on business trends.
  • Plan strategic sales approaches and proposals that speaks to the client’s needs and objectives.
  • Deliver informative presentations to retail and design clients on IDW’s products offering.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide creative solution alternatives.
  • Stay current on industry related news and competitors’ offerings, to identify and develop IDW’s unique selling propositions.
  • Increase existing client business while generating new opportunities with new products.
  • Manage the sales process from discovery, development, negotiations to orders.
  • Organize and clearly communicate relevant information relating to the client, order or project to the appropriate internal support team.
  • Participate in trade shows and be an IDW brand representative at industry events.
  • Adhere to all company operational policies, procedures and business ethics.
  • Report minutes of meetings and forecasting to HQ.


  • 5 years’ experience selling VM or/and mannequins to retail and fashion brand industry.
  • Hunter business development experience with advanced closure capabilities.
  • Driven and committed to over drive obstacles to achieve your goal.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, ability to understand challenges they encounter.
  • Develop and present propositions to help influence and persuade desired outcomes.
  • Outgoing with ambition and strong social competence, communication and creative presentation skills.
  • Business professional projecting a positive company image to the public.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a composed and professional manner.
